Copyrights and Usage

I’ve decided, now that this blog is no longer chained to shackles of restriction via education, to make it clearer what material on this blog is mine, and what can be used by others.

Under Australian Copyright Law – “There is no system of registration for copyright protection in Australia. Copyright protection does not depend on publication, a copyright notice, or any other procedure. Copyright protection is free and automatic from the moment your work is on paper, or disk, or otherwise put into “material form”. This means that the copyright of majority of the text in the posts and the way they are formated, belongs to me, as it is in material form. Any pictures or videos however probably are not, and belong to their respective owners and creators. Whilst I do try to find the source of most pictures or videos, sometimes I am unable to. If any owner wishes the removal of any material owned by them, please feel free to comment below or e-mail me, and I will be happy to oblige.

Also, for extra protection on my works, I’ve opted to put my creative works (blog posts, stories, poems, ect) under a Creative Commons license.  You may share and make derivatives from the material, so long as you reference the source (this blog) by providing links, and share it under the same license. You may not make any commercial gain from these works however. This page explains it better. This only applies to the text portion of things, and any work that is of my creation.
